But the cotton industry in Pakistan is in constant decline and the main reason for this is that the sugarcane crop is being grown in Pakistan ignoring the cotton crop. The sugar mafia eradicated cotton cultivation and planted sugarcane to meet the sugar shortage in the country, but on the other hand, the cotton market was severely damaged and a cotton crisis arose in the country. Sugar is made from beetroot all over the world but sugar is still made from sugarcane in Pakistan.
