He was born in Ankara on September 29, 1979. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Ankara. He graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2003 and completed his general surgery residency training at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. In 2009, he was assigned to Erzurum Hınıs State Hospital to perform his mandatory service as a General Surgery Specialist and served as chief physician for 1.5 years. He completed his military service in 2010 at Diyarbakır Military Hospital. He served as a General Surgery Specialist at Samsun Training and Research Hospital between 2011 and 2015. In April 2015, he began working as a General Surgeon at Medicana Hospital in Samsun. In October 2015, he transferred to Samsun Medical Park Hospital, where he continued his work as a General Surgery Specialist. He received the title of Associate Professor of General Surgery on April 1, 2016. He began working at Samsun Liv Hospital on June 1, 2017. As of April 2023, he began working as a Professor in the Department of General Surgery at Altınbaş University, Faculty of Medicine. He currently treats his patients at Samsun Liv Hospital. He is married with two children. He is particularly interested in obesity surgery, diabetes surgery (diabetes mellitus), advanced laparoscopic surgery (closed cancer surgery), laparoscopic reflux surgery, and laparoscopic oncology (cancer) surgery (stomach, colon, rectum, foodborne). He passed the Turkish Surgical Proficiency Exam and was awarded the Board Proficiency Certificate (November 21, 2009).
