(Orange Cat 🐈) Block 57 Toa Payoh Residential HDB - Otis and Fujitec traction elevators

11 March 2018 | Filmed with a cat accompanying me to take the elevators. Originally built in 1972, this flat only had originally 1 elevator situated at the central staircase of this block. I believe that in the early/mid-1980s, a Fujitec was installed opposite the original lift. In the late-1980s, Fujitec refurbished the original lift in this block. In the late-1990s when Main Upgrading Programme took place, Fujitec refurbished Lift A again, then Otis replaced the additional Fujitec to serve all floors.
