Cleaning Lionel Aluminum Passenger Cars - Postwar Train Repairs

While I wait for my aluminum polish to arrive, I thought I would try some basic cleaning methods to see how they work. ((Like - SUBSCRIBE - Comment)) What did I use to try and clean these cars? 1- plain water 2 - WD-40 3- Vinegar (50/50 mix with water) Which worked the best? What will I do differently next time? Did any of the methods work well enough to do again? Once the aluminum polish arrives, i will go back and compare the difference between it and the methods in this video.
