Building a Paver Patio with Brock Paver Base - Better than Gravel?

I need to build another paver patio and I'm going to build this a different way using the Brock Paver Panels, instead of the thick gravel layer I used for the back patio. There are both pros and cons to using a gravel base layer for pavers and using the Brock Paver panels.
