Highest Paying Bay Area Hospitals for Nurses ($75–$130/hr)

If you’re thinking about becoming a nurse in California or relocating to the Bay Area, knowing which hospitals to apply to is one of the most important steps. In Step 3 of my Bicoastal Nurse series, I’m going over hospitals in the Bay Area that nurses commonly target when looking for competitive pay, strong unions, and solid working conditions. Some Bay Area hospitals pay nurses anywhere from $75 to $130 per hour depending on experience, specialty, differentials, and union contracts. In this video we’ll go over hospitals across Northern California including systems nurses frequently research when planning a move to the Bay Area. In my next video I’ll break down the actual pay ranges for these hospitals so you can understand where nurses are earning the highest hourly rates. If you’re interested in learning how nurses create high earning careers while still having flexibility to travel and live across different cities, subscribe and follow my Bicoastal Nurse journey.
