Katherine & Mataranka - Surprisingly Good - Grab A Lap Series - Ep.22

Growing up in the Northern Territory, I , Jez didn't think much of Katherine & Mataranka but coming back here after all these years, it has just blown me away! If you have kids, there are some must stay places in Mataranka and Katherine. Mataranka has Little Roper Stock Camp which in addition to caravan and camping sites, they hold dinners during the week, cook up Johnny cakes for morning smoko, as well as providing visitors with the opportunity to interact with their friendly Brahman cattle, buffalo, reptiles and other animals. Katherine has Katherine Farm Stay which offers a playground, pool, amenities block, laundry facilities, bbq area & camp kitchen. They have access to the Katherine River and have a private boat ramp, fishing can also be done down at the river but beware of crocs! We love travelling and we love meeting people and we are very grateful for all the support from everyone so we try to give back when we can!
