Everything I LOVED about my Audi S8

The time has come for Mat to say farewell to his Audi S8! He’s spent the last 6 months running it as his daily driver, and he’s about to take you through why he’s just so fond of this luxurious saloon. However, once he’s done that, he’ll be introducing his replacement car… An all-new Audi R8 Spyder! He’s already had his hands on it for a couple of weeks, so he’s about to take you on a tour of the key features of this mid-engine mounted supercar, as well as a run through his chosen spec. With it being an all-new car, Mat’s been able to spec it exactly to his tastes. So as a result, he’s followed the trend as seen with his Audi RS6, BMW M3 and Audi S8, and he’s gone for yet another green car! Not only that, but he’s chosen a brown folding roof, brown seats, and gold alloys! Sure, so the spec may not be to everyone’s taste, but we doubt there’ll be anyone who isn’t impressed by the engine - a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 that can deliver 620hp and 580Nm of torque! And of course, being the Spyder, there’ll be more than enough opportunities for Mat to hear it in full force with the roof down! That is, as long as we don’t have a rain-filled British summer… However, despite the glorious engine, do you really think the R8 Spyder is worth the £170,000 starting price?!
