🌧️ Arunachal Pradesh Monsoon Solo Ride | Part 3 📍 Dirang → Sela Lake → Sela Pass → Tawang The journey into the heart of Arunachal Pradesh continues, and this episode takes me through one of the most iconic mountain routes in India — the road from Dirang to Tawang via the breathtaking Sela Pass and the mesmerizing Sela Lake. After spending a peaceful night in Dirang, I started the day surrounded by mist-covered mountains and the fresh Himalayan air. The weather looked unpredictable, and as the ride progressed, the mountains became taller, the roads more dramatic, and the temperature steadily dropped. The climb towards Sela Pass was nothing short of magical. Dense clouds drifted across the road, visibility changed every few minutes, and the landscape transformed into a high-altitude wonderland. Every turn revealed a new view — waterfalls flowing down rocky cliffs, valleys disappearing into the fog, and mountain roads that seemed to vanish into the clouds. One of the biggest highlights of the ride was reaching the stunning Sela Lake. Surrounded by rugged mountains and covered in mist, the lake looked straight out of a dream. The reflection of the clouds on the water and the peaceful silence of the Himalayas made this one of the most unforgettable moments of the entire journey. As the ride continued through Sela Pass, colorful prayer flags fluttered in the cold mountain wind, adding to the spiritual atmosphere of this legendary Himalayan route. Riding through these high-altitude roads during monsoon was both challenging and rewarding, with changing weather conditions keeping the adventure alive at every kilometer. Finally, after crossing some of the most scenic roads in Arunachal Pradesh, I reached Tawang — a town nestled among the mountains and rich in history, culture, and breathtaking views.
