Shangri-La Plaza opened on November 21, 1991 and contains more than 300 shops and restaurants. The newer East Wing brings it up a notch with its attention to design detail. It was designed by P&T (Palmer and Turner) from Hong Kong and Mix Studio Works from Los Angeles as consulting architects, Casas + Architects as local architects, the East Wing has a feel of a luxury mall in Hong Kong in terms of colors, textures, graphics, spaces, and a hushed ambience. There are 6 levels of shopping and restaurants and 3 levels of basement parking. Notable tenants include Gucci, Herve Leger, Rolex, Omega, Vertu, Celine, Rustan’s Department Store and the first Philippine branch of Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen.
