Why Change Is So Difficult | Sketching an Urban Street Scene and Reflecting

Change has many different consequences. It’s not easy to embrace change when it originates from a source of pain, a source of trauma. And yet, change is inevitable. We can’t run away from it or hide from it. Every second that we are alive, we are in a cycle of some sort of change whether we are aware of it or not. In this episode, you’ll find me reflecting on my experience with change as I put pen to paper and sketch away. Pull up a sketch book and join me as I attempt to sketch an awkward street in an attempt to practice perspective. Let’s come together and share our thoughts on the concept of change. Change can be difficult, especially when it emerges from experiences of pain, loss, or trauma. Yet change is an unavoidable part of life. Every moment we are evolving, adapting, and moving through new experiences, whether we notice it or not. In this episode, I reflect on my personal relationship with change while working through a sketchbook drawing session. Join me as I put pen to paper and tackle the challenge of sketching an awkward street scene, using it as an opportunity to practice perspective drawing and improve my urban sketching skills. If you enjoy thoughtful art conversations, sketchbook content, drawing practice, and artist reflections, grab your sketchbook and draw along with me. I'd love to hear your thoughts on change and how it has shaped your own creative journey. #SketchbookSession #SketchWithMe #Practice #PerspectiveDrawing #UrbanSketching #SketchbookArt #PenAndInk #ArtistLife #CreativeJourney #ArtProcess #ArtinScotland #SelfReflection #PersonalGrowth #ChangeAndGrowth #Sketching #Illustration #Watercolours #InkDrawing #ArtistOnYouTube #CreativeJourney #Healing #LatinainScotland #StartingOver
