Superior Fencing Thermoventilated jacket (and other gear) reviewed

Hello there ! I'm Jérémy from Belgium (I train at Bruselas Destreza HEMA club in Bruxelles) This is a short text and video review of several protections from Superior Fencing. The Thermoregulated Jacket 800N custom made Standard 350N Hema Jacket. Leather gloves and finger tips protector HEMA Full fencing mask Overlay I ordered some gear for me and a team mate from Superior Fencing after seeing some positive reviews only about their jackets. I was looking for a jacket with good protections and thermoregulation. Superior Fencing is the only one selling this kind of jacket to my knowledge and their price are about 30-35% cheaper than what you can find in Europe. The Thermo ventilation jacket is really great. It's cooler than your usual jacket. The padding is very good and you get two sets of removable foam protection inside the jacket for the elbows and shoulder. You also get a rigid plastic protector for the elbow that you can put on the outside to replace the softer inside version. The jacket was custom made for my size and it was a really good fit. The ventilation system is helpfull for the heat and the quality of the stichings and the materials is great. I'm really happy about the jacket and i think it's the best jacket i could find on the market at the moment ! It's also 800N rated and there is a blade catcher on it. It's also quite confortable during sparring. I could move easily without being impaired and i don't think i'll ever need more protection. If you need to go to a tournament you can simply add a plastron and you are good to go. You can customize the colors and the size (i wanted full black, and not bicolor like it's shown on the web site) I also ordered a standard 350N jacket for a team mate. Didn't spar with this one obviously but the quality is similar to the other one (without removable protections and breathable material of course). You can find the same kind of jackets in Europe, just more expensive. The leather gloves are the same model sold in Black Armory and shops like that. Nothing much to say, the quality is the same, it's perfect for drills and training at low speed with a partner. Great quality, just cheaper... The fingertips are made with plastic. I mainly wanted these for my thumbs. I can put it in my gloves and the stay there and don't move much and it's a great protection in case you get a sword hit on your thumb during training. It's rubber so not very flexible. It could fit your other fingers a bit less, depending on the size of your hand and gloves. A flexible rubber could be a bit more practical. The full fencing mask overlay is also pretty nice. The quality is very good and it's padded everywhere, with a very strong and more rigid protection on the back of the head. I ordered a M size because that's the size of my Red Dragon Fencing mask and it fits very well. Superior Fencing usually answered my questions after 1/2 days, so the communication was good. You don't have to worry about package getting stuck at customs because the customs are payed in Pakistan By SF with the shipping costs so you will know exactly how much you are paying before you order from them.
