A tough fishing day

Our choice of bait was the Atlantic thread herring, but we got some anchovies locally known as tamanook and some scaled sardines locally known as hardback. The command presence of the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard was much appreciated as they were seen in the backdrop. We then head out into the Serpent's Mouth the body of water between Trinidad and Venezuela where we were greeted with the sight of a gorgeous arched rainbow. The fishing was tough today as we tried various spots but to no avail. In a last-ditch effort, we tried the waters around Los Gallos Rocks however there was no difference, after all every day is fishing day but not catching day as we were grateful for the experience. The catch which consisted of a couple salmon and a snook was not even enough to purchase the gasoline as the local call this a pale-ass.
