Andrea Trabucco-Campos at Upscale Conf 2025 in San Francisco
Andrea Trabucco-Campos, designer, author of Artificial Typography & Grammy-nominated creative, is at #UpscaleConf with “The Paradox of AI”. Having worked with Apple, The NYT & Partner at Pentagram, he argues in generative design, visual history isn’t optional, it’s essential. Andrea opens by exploring how tension and contrast are the birthplace of creativity. To look forward with AI, we need to look backward into history, process, and culture. He shared work like Grandbacan, an Italian restaurant where he merged multiple visual voices into one. For PayPal, the challenge was clarity, redefining their type to stand on its own and avoid blending into the brand noise.
