Foundation Leader: KH. A. Busyiri Muslim The AL BURDAH Islamic Boarding School is an Islamic religious educational institution established in 1975 and certified by a notary in 2002. With a 2,000-square-meter plot of land, the AL BURDAH Islamic Boarding School is planned to rely on the agricultural sector to become self-sufficient in meeting the needs of its students. The educational method combines Salafiyah teachings with the Yellow Book and formal junior and vocational high schools. In Diniyyah (Islamic Education), students study Islamic texts such as Aqidah (Aqidah), Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), Sufism (Sufism), Nahwu (Nahdhu), Shorof (Short Speech), the Quran, Tarikh (Tahrir), and Arabic as the main subjects. Students are taught in a classical, sorogan (song) and bandongan (song) method, typical of Islamic boarding schools. Students sit cross-legged while listening to the teacher's explanations. Diniyyah education at Al Burdah Islamic Boarding School in Soreang is divided into three levels: Ula (First Level), Wustho (Middle Level), and Ulya (Senior Level). Jurumiyah (Islamic Jurisprudence), Imtirhi (Islamic Sufism), and Alfiyah (Islamic Recitation) are the main courses. Another characteristic is the spiritual aspect of Ubudiyah (Islamic Recitation), which includes obligatory prayers, congregational Wirid (recitation of the Quran), the Sunnah prayer of Dhuha (Dhuha), Tahajud (Teacher's Prayer), and other prayers.
