Geodesic Domes Constructed with Hinged Triangles
This video describes how geodesic domes can be constructed with hinged triangles using a minimum number of different triangles. Fabrication of the triangle sides and triangles is easily accomplished using the computer codes developed for this project. Shown are icosahedral, octahedral and tetrahedral domes with different frequencies. Some model domes are also shown complete with floor plans. Also presented are pictures of a prototype dome segment.
