This video shows you how to build the Paris class frigate from Halo Reach using common ship part mods in Starfield, and some of my custom weapon tweaks for the turrets and the giant MAC (magnetic accelerator cannon) railgun. This ship is a love letter to Halo and was uploaded for all the other Halo fans out there. I tried to include as many details as possible from the original Halo artwork, but also make it work realistically in Starfield. Since the docking port is in the front and I think that is a good place for it, I could not add all the long antennas that stick out the nose like in the art (also length and clipping issues). I prefer realism and do not like cheat parts, so there is a docking bay ladder that connects to the ground, and I tried to make the ship sit very high off the ground to have as little clipping issues as possible at landing pads in the game. I also balanced the ship weapons to be very good, but not over powered. I tried to make the video easy to follow, and I explain all the building techniques used to make this ship, that you can take and apply to your own builds. I don't have any performance issues during gameplay, but there is a long pause when trying to go into the ship builder, and there is lower framerate in the ship builder.
