Rural Women Network's Grassroots Women Redefine Resilience in Kajiado, Kenya
In Kenya's arid Kajiado County, Maasai women are adapting to climate change on their own terms. As erratic weather makes traditional livestock rearing increasingly difficult, Huairou member Rural Women Network is supporting women to transition into small-scale farming for food security and income - through hands-on Learning Centers, partnerships with local agriculture departments, and grassroots-led advocacy.
