My second day in Riga and a completely different side of the city. I start at the Latvian Riflemen Monument and the area around the Occupation Museum, then we move through the city center towards the Old Town. We also see the "Castle of Light" – the National Library of Latvia – a powerful symbol of the country's modern identity. Along the way, we stop at Rātslaukums, the House of the Brotherhood of Blackheads, Riga Castle (the president's residence), and the Three Brothers' houses.
