The operation took place in the Suyapa neighborhood of La Ceiba, following several days of surveillance and thanks to crucial support from the community. Key points of this operation: Capture and Raids: In addition to the arrest, four additional raids were carried out in the area to identify other individuals involved and gather evidence to strengthen the case. Scientific Evidence: Teams from the Public Prosecutor's Office are conducting exhumations and autopsies at the Rigores cemetery, while ballistic experts are analyzing pistol and rifle casings found at the crime scenes. Criminal Structure: Although the involvement of some six or seven people in the incident is being investigated, authorities suggest that it is not necessarily a case of conventional organized crime, but rather another type of crime in the area. Justice for the Victims: The Attorney General emphasized that this arrest is the result of effective coordination between the Public Prosecutor's Office, the National Police, the Armed Forces, and the Judiciary to restore peace to the region.
