LIDDERWAT TREK | EASY TREK IN KASHMIR | GO FAZIL

This is a beautiful trek that goes through an evergreen Forest filled with pine and maple trees to the wonderful Lidderwat Pass. It is an expedition that takes the explorers of nature to one of the best camping sites in Kashmir and provides them with the proper experience of adventure. Lidderwat is famous among trekking enthusiasts as it serves as one of the base camps for various different treks in this region. The Valley is an extension between the Kolahoi and Tarsar Ranges and offers a base camp for the Kolahoi glacier, Tarsar, and Marsar, along with a number of peaks and various different high-altitude lakes. It is a meeting point between two rivers coming from the Tarsar, Marsar, and Kolahoi glaciers, it gives rise to the Lidder River, hence the name Lidderwat. Lidderwat is a lush green valley that attracts a large number of Shepherds who take their herds to this valley during the summer for grazing. It is an amazing trail that begins from Aru which can be reached via various different modes of transports such as buses, taxis, cabs, or private vehicles. Even though this trail can be done throughout the year, the best time to visit this trail is from April to October when the weather is pleasant and the valley is green and full bloom.
