Βγάζω το "θα" ( Delete "θα") 2. Γράφω το θέμα του ρήματος χωρίς τόνο (Write the stem of the verb without accent mark) 3. Μετακινώ τον τόνο μία συλλαβή πιο πάνω- στα αριστερά- (Move the accent mark one syllable to the left) 4. Προσθέτω τις καταλήξεις που έχει ο Αόριστος (Add the endings of Simple Past Tense) ***5. Αν δεν υπάρχει μία συλλαβή στα αριστερά για τον τόνο, προσθέτω ένα ε- πριν το θέμα του ρήματος σε όλα τα πρόσωπα, εκτός από το α' και β' πληθυντικό. (In case there is no syllable for the accent mark, you should add an ε- before the stem of the verb to all the persons, except the 1st and 2nd plural) e.g. Ενεστώτας (Present) Απλός Μέλλοντας (S. Future) Αόριστος (S. Past) κλείνω θα κλείσω έ-κλεισ-α Κλίση ρήματος στον Αόριστο (conjugation) αγόρασ-α έ-κλεισ-α αγόρασ-ες έ-κλεισ-ες αγόρασ-ε έ-κλεισ-ε αγοράσ-αμε κλείσ-αμε αγοαράσ-ατε κλείσ-ατε αγόρασ-αν έ-κλεισ-αν Τα παραπάνω βήματα ισχύουν για τα ρήματα Α, Β και για αρκετά από τα ανώμαλα ρήματα.
