This is why people are fighting in South Sudan

South Sudan is home to more than 60 tribes, each with its own rich culture, language, traditions, and history. Diversity is one of our greatest strengths, yet it can also become a source of division when we fail to understand, respect, and appreciate one another. In this video, I share my thoughts on why unity, harmony, love, and mutual respect are essential for building a peaceful and prosperous South Sudan. Too often, people focus on tribal differences instead of our shared humanity and common future. Lasting peace cannot be achieved through division, hatred, or discrimination. It can only be achieved when we learn to live together as brothers and sisters, regardless of tribe, ethnicity, religion, or background. This discussion explores how embracing diversity can become a powerful tool for peacebuilding, conflict prevention, reconciliation, and national development. South Sudan's future depends on the choices we make today. If we choose unity over division, cooperation over conflict, and understanding over prejudice, we can create a better future for the next generation.
