Fishing Japan for the First Time Pt. 1: Tokyo, Nikko, Bizen, and Seto Inland Sea
This was my first time fishing in Japan, a life-changing experience, and I hope to return to the country soon! I explored some of Japan's most beautiful spots and met amazing people along the way. From Tokyo, I went to the mountains of Nikko then traveled west to Bizen and the Seto Insland Sea, while discovering local fishing techniques and the unique culture long the way. I fished lakes and the coastal waters, targeting species like Madai (Red Sea Bream) and Mebaru (Rockfish) while sharing my experience as an American angler in Japan for the first time.
