It's the type of player who is definitely above average, but not quite elite. They are "Dudes". In this inaugural episode of Baseball Dudes, I'll be covering one such player. He is known as "The Craziest Man in Baseball" and "The Beard," his raw power on the field was matched only by his antics off it, and at the time of his peak, he took not just baseball, but the sports world by storm.
