For me, it's admittedly a bit of a childhood trauma. Every Sunday, when I had so many "things" planned, I'd be relentlessly told in the afternoon that it was time for a walk. Hence my distance from the topic of hiking to this day... But recently, I met the head of tourism in Villach, Carinthia, Georg Overs, who, incidentally, is also an old Aachen resident like me, and he said that if I didn't feel like hiking, then his hiking region was just right for me... Yeah, that sounds a bit bizarre. And I thought to myself, yeah, the usual PR spiel in tourism. Nevertheless, I was curious about the terms "slow trail" and "pleasure hiking."
