Theresa and Rosalie are preparing a beer tasting to convince the press and business partners of the quality of Burger Bräus. Meanwhile, the brewery is being inspected by a stranger. When Theresa and Rosalie notice that someone has been there in their absence, they fear it might be one of the journalists. Indeed, the tasting is not going well for Theresa. With an emotional plea, she tries to win back trust in the Burger name. Suddenly, the stranger appears and comes to Theresa's aid. Werner refuses to be pressured by Doris. Although he assures her that he loves her, Doris moves out—much to the delight of Charlotte and Julius, who have now seen through Doris's scheme and reconciled. After a bitter farewell to her sons, Doris drives to Munich and ignores Werner's calls. After spending the night together, Nicola and André can hardly tear themselves away. But André has to go to the kitchen—especially since a private party has been announced at the restaurant at short notice. He is all the more pleased to discover that it consists of only one person: Nicola. She rented the restaurant so she could spend time with André. Starting with episode 1528, Ralph Schicha takes on the guest role of Theresa's charming Bavarian father, Hans Burger. Fans of the series will recognize Schicha from his long-running role in the telenovela 'Wege zum Glück' (Paths to Happiness).
