In this video, we'll learn one of the most important basics for freestyle slalom skating together: the "Half Lemon." The Half Lemon is a fundamental and simple slalom trick that looks easy but incorporates very important details that are crucial for getting started in slalom freestyle skating. For most slalom basics and beginner tricks, the fundamentals of general inline skating are an important prerequisite! The Lemon, also known as the Egg Lay or Melon, is suitable for both beginners in freestyle slalom skating and those new to inline skating in general. In this video tutorial, we'll learn not only the Half Lemon but also that we can initially use our regular inline skates to learn the basics.
