Platesolving, what it is, and how to set it up
Platesolving is one of the best tools for astrophotographers. I think it can be especially useful to beginners who hate doing star alignments, but many of us early on are too intimidated to try it out. I'll try to demystify it as well as show you how to set it up in a couple different ways in Sharpcap and Sequence Generator Pro. Any software you use should have a similar setup process to these two.
