The Rocket Girl Chronicles: A Lockdown Project - with ANDREW ROVENKO
Editor of FRAMES Magazine, Tomasz Trzebiatowski, in conversation with ANDREW ROVENKO. Andrew Rovenko shares his photographic journey and the story behind his project, "The Rocket Girl Chronicles." His fascination with photography began in childhood, sparked by his grandfather's camera. He started experimenting with photography as a hobby and eventually turned it into a career. "The Rocket Girl Chronicles" project came about during the COVID-19 lockdown when Rovenko's daughter developed an interest in space. The project involved capturing his daughter in a space-themed costume in various locations, resulting in a series of over 100 analog photographs. The project gained international recognition and led to the publication of a book. You can look at more of Andrew's work and order the book here: https://rovenko.com.
