OPENING CEREMONY OF THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MPLS AND THE PAUD-ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TRANSITION MPLS AT SDN 4 SELOGIRI FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR Before the school term, new students typically participate in the MPLS, or School Environment Introduction Period. This period is mandatory for all new students to familiarize themselves with the school ecosystem. From the definition above, it can be understood that the purpose of the MPLS for new students is to help them adapt to their new environment, understand school policies and procedures, familiarize themselves with available facilities, and build social relationships with other students and staff. The 2023 Elementary School Introduction Period (MPLS) is different from previous years. While the previous MPLS SD was held for three days, this time it will be held over two weeks, starting Monday (July 17, 2023). This is a strategy to help children adapt quickly and ensure a pleasant transition from PAUD to elementary school.
