River Thurne at Potter Heigham. A couple of hours feeder fishing for skimmer bream.

Well I have just replaced my match pole box for a more modern system, and was gagging to give it a try. The wind was blowing half a gale with 30 mph north westerly winds, so venue was a tricky choice. I decided at Potter Heigham behind the restaurant, as it would be half sheltered there. Well I was soon set up, tables, arms and quick release fittings in every direction! Ground bait was mixed, and a tin of sweet corn was poured in the maggot box. Time to cast out!
