It isn't TLOU, they aren't Joel & Ellie, and it isn't their dynamic, like, at all. Leon hasn’t been this touchy with anyone in previous games (at least in the remakes that I’ve played), so please, if you don’t ship them, kindly close the tab and let people ship whatever they wanna ship. I do not get where the people are seeing this dynamic with two full grown adults. Grace is at least in her mid-twenties, might even be early thirties, she ADOPTS a kid in the game, she’s got trauma related to her mother & zero daddy issues, she’s not in the market for a dad for their dynamic with Leon to be in any way, shape or form what the majority of the fandom suggests. Also re: wedding ring, look, it’s so blink and you missed two frames of it (that you had to zoom x20 in 4K to even catch) that clearly Capcom don’t intend to stick to it if Leon’s to be in future games. They just won’t lock him down. Not to Ada, not Claire, not Ashley, not Chris lol. It would be simply disastrous from a financial standpoint for them. Plus, he would have been wearing it the whole time if he was happily married, and don’t give me the gloves argument for that. If they don’t ignore the ring altogether in the future, either it will be some sort of survival bond ring him, Sherry & Claire wear (given that Sherry does have a similar ring), or he could be a widower. But the hell would freeze sooner than Capcom truly marry Leon off.
