Constanza Celebrates the Fifth Annual Harvest Festival 2026 By Fabio Hernández Constanza, La Vega – With the participation of more than 100 exhibitors and a wide-ranging program of agricultural, gastronomic, cultural, and recreational activities, Constanza celebrates the fifth annual Harvest Festival 2026 from July 16 to 19 at the 14 de Junio ​​Domestic Airport. The event, organized by the Association for the Development of Constanza (ASODECONST), has become the leading showcase for the region's agricultural sector, promoting innovation, agro-ecological tourism, and sustainable development. For four days, thousands of visitors will be able to explore agricultural exhibition pavilions, learn about technological innovations for the field, participate in specialized conferences, and enjoy a diverse culinary offering, sporting competitions, and artistic performances. The president of ASODECONST, María Felisa Gutiérrez, highlighted the growth and national reach the festival has achieved, noting that this initiative has transcended the borders of Constanza to become a benchmark event for the entire country. The program includes conferences on potato seed production, precision agriculture, biological pest control, and new technologies applied to the agricultural sector. In addition, attendees can enjoy the "Everything Tastes Better with Carrots" Gastronomic Route, contests, culinary demonstrations, chess and domino tournaments, children's activities, and model aircraft demonstrations. Recreational activities include the traditional Harvest Parade, the Harvest 5K, a Zumba marathon, volleyball competitions, and the Harvest Family Rally. The artistic lineup features renowned Dominican music artists, including El Blachy, Jovanny Polanco, Luis Miguel del Amargue, and Chiquito Team Band, in addition to local performers. With this fifth edition, the Harvest Festival reaffirms Constanza's leadership as one of the Dominican Republic's main centers for agricultural production and agro-ecological tourism, strengthening the local economy and promoting the region's productive potential.
