Dojun loves his wife dearly. However, he is inwardly anxious about his wife's social activities, which are more successful than his own. As Dojun's affection intensifies day by day, it turns into a pathological obsession; exhausted by this, Eunyoung eventually has Dojun forcibly admitted to a psychiatric hospital. Dojun is discharged on the condition of a consensual divorce. When they meet again at the mediation committee, Dojun overturns the agreement and presents evidence of Eunyoung's infidelity... Dojun's love for Eunyoung was extraordinary, as he celebrated various anniversaries even before their marriage. He is inwardly worried about Eunyoung's social activities, which require frequent meetings with men while working in advertising. Unlike Dojun, who remains a perpetual assistant manager, Eunyoung is recognized for her abilities at work and is rising through the ranks. As his wife becomes even busier following her promotion, Dojun feels nothing but anxiety. One day, when Eunyoung returned home late after a company dinner, Dojun rummaged through her clothes and handbag while she was showering. Dojun's strange behavior worsens day by day, eventually leading him to exhibit severe symptoms of delusional jealousy. Meanwhile, when Eun-young takes on a critical project and secretly stays at a hotel with her team, Do-jun's suspicions reach their peak. He eventually goes to the hotel where she works and causes a scene in front of her colleagues... The argument with the enraged Eun-young escalates into violence, and Eun-young realizes the gravity of the situation. A few days later, Do-jun visits the office where Eun-young is working overtime and ends up beating her boss, Min-su, simply because he and Eun-young look affectionate... Unable to bear it any longer, Eun-young goes so far as to forcibly admit her husband to a psychiatric hospital. Do-jun, confined to the hospital without knowing the reason, agrees when Eun-young visits him and says she will release him if he grants a divorce. Upon his discharge, Do-jun visits the court to finalize a consensual divorce but suddenly changes his attitude, claiming he cannot grant it. The truth is revealed belatedly: Eun-young, who had been secretly having an affair, had branded her husband mentally ill and locked him up in the hospital after her affair was discovered.
