The Geometric Hot Springs, formerly called Cajón Negro Hot Springs, are thermal baths located in the Los Ríos Region, in Chile. They are immersed in the Villarrica National Park, near the town of Coñaripe, next to the Aihué estuary, a tributary of the El Venado River. They get their name from the design inspired by the geometry of the infrastructure around the hot springs, a project designed by the architect Germán del Sol, which was completed in 2009. The baths consist of about sixty thermal water sources that spring naturally at a temperature of 80 °C, on the southeastern slopes of the Villarrica volcano, forming twenty pools with walkways made of coihue wood that run 450 m of a natural ravine3 surrounded by vegetation. typical of the Valdivian jungle ecoregion.
