Abbey Murphy ‘20 is an American college ice hockey forward and captain of the University of Minnesota in the NCAA. A Team USA veteran, she participated in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, capturing a silver medal, and has competed in three World Championships, medaling in each. Murphy is also one of just two players in history to score in three consecutive gold medal games at the IIHF World Women’s U18 Championship. Most recently, she earned a top-10 finalist spot for the 2024–25 Patty Kazmaier Award and ranked fourth in the nation with a career-high 65 points.
