BWTS (ballast water treatment system) for ship stability we use seawater filling in the ballast tank of the ship this is called ballasting. However, when a ship is loaded with cargo we need to deballast the tank. This water we cannot overboard directly from the ship because it may pose serious ecological, economic, and health problems due to the multitude of marine species carried in ships' ballast water.
