Opening a Roll of Mexican Silver Libertad Coins!
In this video I show myself Opening a Roll of Mexican Silver Libertad Coins! The Bank sealed roll of libertad silver coins was from 1985. The older style libertads were minted from 1982-1995. The Mexican Silver Libertad is one of my all time favorite silver bullion coins because the older style has a plain edge with lettering on it as opposed to a reeded edge like most silver bullion coins. The coins minted in 1994 and 1995 are the older style libertads but the have a reeded edge. Before the current mexican silver libertad coin 1 oz was made in 999 fine silver they were called Onzas and were made out of sterling silver. The mexican silver libertad mintage numbers have varied quite a bit since they were first minted ranging from 400,000 to almost 2.5 million coins per year.
