How The Great War Broke Skyrim - The Road to Civil War | Skyrim's Civil War EXPLAINED Part 1

In today's video, I wanted to begin my journey through the Civil War questline, featured in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. In order to even touch on the Civil War though, we need to first look at a few things. How'd we end up here? Why are the Stormcloaks at war with the Empire and who are the big players? Secondly, we need to take one more step back and look at the Great War. What effects did the Great War have on the Nords of Skyrim and the people of the Empire? Once all of that is taken care of, we can then dive into the storyline itself. I'll discuss the quests that take place on either side, the leaders of both factions, and any possible lore that might come up.
