Beach pants in 1 hour without a pattern! These pants are comfortable and cool for going to the beach on a sunny day. For the pants, you'll need: fabric (I used 100% cotton cambric) 1 meter (for a waist circumference of up to 70 cm), 2 meters (for a waist circumference greater than 70 cm); sewing machine; matching thread; 1 hour of free time. You don't need a pattern for these convertible pants. Cut two rectangles from the fabric. Width = waist circumference + 10 cm, length = pants length from waist to hem. The seat inseam (27 cm in the video) may increase depending on the size. This measurement should also be increased to 40 cm if you plan to wear the pants as a dress or jumpsuit. There are videos online with all the variations. For some of them, it's better to use a stretchy fabric, like viscose. I finished the seat seam with a French seam so the seam allowances were on the inside. You can also stitch the seam as usual and then finish the seam allowance with an overlocker or a zigzag stitch. I turn the side and hem edges under by 5 mm, then under by 5 mm again, and topstitch. For the ties, I take two strips of fabric, each 3.5 cm wide and 150 cm long. I press the seam allowances with a bias tape maker, but you can also press them with a pin. I close the top edges of the front and back with binding. That's it!
