Greetings, this week we're taking you to Gavur Döndü Plateau, one of Muğla's hidden paradises. A special route, intertwined with nature, with its cool air and stunning views, is waiting to be explored. In this video, I explain how to reach the plateau by car, starting from Dalaman, and what awaits you upon arrival. Starting from Dalaman city center, follow the D-400 highway, heading towards Fethiye via Ortaca and Göcek. After passing Fethiye, follow the signs for Seydikemer to the Uğurlu neighborhood. From there, turn left towards Seydiler, just along the Eşen Stream. From there, head north onto the mountain road towards Atlıdere and Ortaköy villages and begin your climb towards the plateau. Although the road is winding, it's easily accessible by car. After approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, you'll arrive at Gavur Döndü Plateau, surrounded by pine forests and mountain views. Upon arrival at the plateau, a completely different atmosphere will greet you. You can go hiking, picnic, or camp in the cool highland air, enjoying the tranquility. During the summer months, when locals flock to the plateau, you'll also have the opportunity to experience Yörük culture, savor traditional flavors, and hear legends from the past. For photography enthusiasts, the expansive viewpoints and sunset shots are a must-see.
