Changing Strings on Archtop Guitar: Keeping the Ball Ends in the Tailpiece
The ball ends of the strings can easily fall out of the metal tailpiece before the slack is taken up. Using an old Gibson L7 as a model, I show a couple ways to keep the end of the string in place. This is just a short video, but it is too long to present as a Video Short.
