They Couldn't Play Outside Anymore - I Gave This Family a HUGE Surprise!

The grass was overgrown, the place looked forgotten — but the electricity and water were still connected, so I knew someone lived here. I knocked on the door, but no one answered. Curious, I spoke to the neighbors, and they told me a family had been living here — a mother and her two kids, who had recently gone through a divorce. They’d gone interstate for work, leaving the home behind. That’s when I thought: what better way to surprise a family going through tough times than by giving their yard a complete transformation! This property had become a real eyesore for the entire street and was crying out for some life to be brought back into it. The driveway was buried under dirt and overgrown grass, with gum tree suckers sprouting through the cracks in the cement. The garden beds were completely overrun with weeds, and one of them was so hidden I didn’t even realize it existed until I uncovered it with the whipper snipper. In one of the garden beds stood a massive willow tree with a huge dead branch that had snapped off and wedged itself into a cluster of Yuccas. Scattered all around this yard were piles of branches, sticks, and even a plank of wood with nails sticking out of it, hidden among the tall grass. It was a dangerous mess — especially for her children, who could have easily been hurt playing here. I can't wait until you see what I have done with this place, I even gave her a huge surprise at the end to make the garden really shine!
