Astola Island Haftalar Jazeera in Balochistan -----Urdu------------------ استولا یا ھپت تلار جزیرہ: خوابوں اور کرشموں کا جزیرہ استولا پاکستان کا سب سے بڑا جزیرہ ہے جو بلوچستان کے ساحلی شہر پسنی سے چالیس کلو میڑ دور بحیرہ عرب کی خلیج مکران میں واقع ایک خوبصورت اور دلکش جزیرہ ہے۔۔ اس جزیرے کو مقامی لوگ "ہپت تْلار" کہتے ہیں۔ جس کے معنی سات چٹان کے ہیں۔ جبکہ اَس کا سرکاری ریکارڈ میں نام (اَستولہ آئی لینڈ)لکھا جاتاہے۔ یہ سطح سمندر سے زیادہ سے زیادہ 75 میٹر بلند ہے۔8یا 6 کلو میٹر طویل اور 3یا2 کلو میٹر چوڑا ہے۔ یہ ایک سمندری محفوظ علاقہ ہے جہاں فیروزی رنگ کا صاف پانی اور چار قسم جن میں ریتیلا، پتھریلا، پہاڑیلا، مرجانی ریف اور کیچڑ والے کنارے شامل ہیں۔ جزیرے پر کئی سارے غار بھی موجود ہیں۔ جزیرے کا جنوبی حصہ آہستہ آہستہ ساحل کی جانب جھکتا ہے جبکہ اتری طرف چٹان نما اونچے کنارے ہیں۔استولا اپنی انتہائی علیحدگی، طبیعی خوبصورتی اور جانداروں کی نوعیت کے لیے مشہور ہے۔ اس کا موسم گرم و خشک ہے اور جزیرے کی سب سے اونچی جگہ سمندر سے 246 میٹر کی بلندی پر ہے۔ -- English---------------- Astola Island: The Island of Dreams and Wishes Astola is Pakistan's largest island which is located forty kilometers away from the coastal city of Pasni in Balochistan in the Arabian Sea's Gulf of Makran. The local people call this beautiful and charming island "Hapt Talar" which means "Seven Rocks". Whereas its official recorded name is Astola Island. It has a maximum height of 75 meters above sea level. It is 6 to 8 kilometers long and 2 to 3 kilometers wide. It is a marine protected area with clear turquoise blue waters and shores of four types including sandy, rocky, mountainous, coral reefs and those with shells. There are also several caves on the island. The southern part of the island gradually slopes towards the coast while the northern part has tall rocky cliffs. Astola is famous for its extreme isolation, natural beauty and diversity of flora and fauna.
