The past 2.5 years has been the longest time I've been away from home. I was originally planning to go in 2021, but omicron came, then I moved out of Miami, stayed in Philly for a bit, moved in with my bf in New York, got diagnosed with gastritis (rough), had new changes on my team at work, started my youtube channel. With all these changes, I couldn't find the right 'time' to go home. Whenever my family asked me "when are you coming back?" my answer was always "I don't know...hopefully soon." But this time, I decided to just 'GO'. I told myself that time is how you make of it, and I am in control of everything that happens in life rather than letting it carry me away.
