After spotting a stork, I continued on my third hike and somehow got carried away with my story. I suspect no one is interested, but perhaps it will help someone unwind after a long day. Hiking is certainly helpful for me; it strengthens my body and simultaneously helps my soul gradually emerge from grief and return to normal life. After the death of my dear mother, I slipped quite deeply into grief and depression, and hiking has helped me tremendously to rediscover my zest for life and my will to live. That's not so easy these days, and to everyone who is also struggling, I wish you all the best and much happiness. Perhaps you should try it sometime, start with a few minutes around the block or wherever, and give yourself some time. At first, you have to force yourself to do it, but later you'll look forward to it.
