In this video I take you through several exercises designed to challenge your airflow as you ascend and also incorporate vowel sounds to help facilitate airflow in the higher reaches of your range. Pentatonic scales are used for their evocative sound; their sound helps us anticipate where the next note of the scale is going to be. Knowing where the next note is is crucial to singing in tune and even more important above the secondo passaggio (the break). Enjoy!
