The buckwheat noodles and perilla oil noodles at Matjip Makguksu are always a moving experience, no matter when you eat them. In particular, one of the greatest charms of this restaurant is the unlimited supply of excellent buckwheat tea made from "hand-roasted buckwheat"—so much so that people say they come here not for the noodles, but just to drink the tea. At first glance, Matjip Makguksu is located in a very unfamiliar spot, and the surrounding environment is just as stunning as that unfamiliarity. In particular, Nogokji, where a large windmill greets you first, creates the illusion that you have stepped into a foreign country. The surrounding houses are also beautifully built.
