In the midst of late winter's chill, we brave the rugged trails of the Yukon, our snowmobiles carving through the pristine snowscape. Our destination? A secluded backcountry lake known for giant lake trout. After a challenging ride, we arrive at the lake under the cloak of darkness and camp on the ice. We soon enjoy an amazing display of the northern lights,. We experience some amazing ice fishing - the best I've ever had by far and land some real giants. We also explore the lake, camp in an Arctic Oven tent, we have a fire on the ice and set lines for Burbot.
